Bithost.io Now Enables Cryptocurrency Payments for VPS by DigitalOcean, Linode, and Hetzner
The relatively new entrants DigitalOcean and Linode, a popular virtual private server (VPS) providers, have been formidable competitors to even such giants as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. But now these two VPS providers will scoop up another segment of the market: multitudes of users who seek greater anonymity.
This is due to the recent announcement from Bithost.io. They announced that users can pay with cryptocurrencies for cloud servers hosted by three big name companies: DigitalOcean, Linode, and Hetzner. This means online users can now pay anonymously for VPS from Big Tech names — something that was unavailable up until now.
Bithost is a cloud hosting provider that doesn’t disclose where it is located but says on their website it’s owned by “Antoan.” Whoever is behind the company, this provider offers cloud servers with “no things attached,” they do not ask nor store user credit card details.
Bithost’s customers get an array of payment options: BTC, LTC, XRP, BCH, BSV, DASH, DOGE, EOS, ETH, USDT.ERC20, XMR, and ZEC.
Bithost was the first company to accept cryptocurrency for cloud hosting – it rolled out this option in 2014, but it was only recently that they started selling VPS by DigitalOcean, Linode, and Hetzner.
For the added anonymity thanks to the cryptocurrency payments option, one will pay a little more than the price available direct from DigitalOcean, Linode, and Hetzner. But for certain users Bithost is a gem, just what they are looking for.
The bigger price, as Bithost.io explains, is also to mitigate the risk of converting cryptocurrencies back to USD and to help with the running costs.
The company promises that one can deploy a cloud server in less than a minute and all their servers are equipped with SSDs for optimal performance. To see if this is true, visit their website and give it a ty.
