UP Scholarship 2018-19 Dates

UP Scholarship is administered and distributed with the help of Institutes located within the State and even outside the state (in the case of post matric scholarship). For the effective administration and streamlining the application process and various other activities involved till the disbursement of UP Scholarship, Government of Uttar Pradesh has developed UP Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System.

UP Scholarship 2018-19 Application Form

The candidates can only be filled UP Scholarship Application Form online. There are three categories under which the candidates can apply. The candidates from class 9 and 10 are only eligible to apply for UP Pre Matric Scholarship, whereas the candidates from class 11 and 12 can apply under UP Scholarship Post Matric Scholarship. The candidates pursuing higher education can apply under Post Matric other than Intermediate. The link to apply online for UP Scholarship 2018-19 is available below. The candidates can apply for both Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship from 1 July to 31 August 2018. UP Scholarship 2018-19 Pre Matric 

UP Scholarship Pre-Matric Scholarship is offered to the students who are presently studying at the school level and are in need of financial assistance because of poor financial conditions.

• Eligibility: The students should be enrolled in class 9-10 in a Government school or a school recognised by Govt. or by a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
• Annual Family Income Limit: The criteria of parental income are different for different categories, the details are as follows

The rate of Scholarship: The eligible candidates selected many of the academic merits, and annual family income are given the scholarship as per the following rates:

• Application Process: The application for the scholarship will be made online for the students of class 9-10 using the portal for UP Scholarship.
• Renewal of Scholarship: The students who want to apply for the renewal of the scholarship are required to fill the online application using the registration number assigned to them while registering for the scholarship.

UP Scholarship 2018-19 Post Matric 

UP Scholarship Post Matric is offered to the students of class 11, 12, UG, PG & Doctoral level course to ensure that they can achieve what they aspire for and can bring glory to the state. They will receive the scholarship even if their institution is located outside Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Post Matric UP Scholarship, the student should be:

• Eligible Courses: UP government has classified all the eligible 575 courses into four groups. The student should be enrolled in any of the courses in Institutes registered with Online Master Database. 
• Registered Institutions: The students from a particular institution will get the benefit of scholarship scheme only after their college/institution is registered with the Online Master Database. To get registered with the Master Database, the Colleges/Institutions are required to make a written application. 
• Annual Family Income: The annual family income of the student from all sources should be less than Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories including SC, ST, OBC, Minority & General.

• The rate of Scholarship: The Candidates found eligible will be given the scholarship on the basis of their status, i.e.,.whether they are hostlers or day scholars. The detailed information is

Application Process: The candidates are required to make online applications for the scholarship after making sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and are enrolled in course & college listed eligible for UP Scholarship.

• The students are required to go to the official website of UP Scholarship and fill out the application form.
• Once the online form submission is done, they are supposed to take a printout of the completed application form and deposit it to the concern authorities in their college/institution along with required documents.
• The college/institution will do online verification of the forms and forward them to the concern authorities.

Renewal Process: To renew the scholarship the students are required to log in to their accounts on the UP Scholarship portal using their previously given registration number and complete the formalities of renewal.

UPTU Scholarship 2018 - Uttar Pradesh Technical University

Uttar Pradesh Technical University is a State University established and administered by Government of Uttar Pradesh. UPTU offers a number of schemes for the benefit of students. A few of them are Talent Incentive Scheme, Scholarships to First Two Branch Toppers, Rank Holders of UPTU Entrance Exam and Incentives to Rank Holders in All India Level Competitions like GATE/GRE/UPSC/IAS/IES/GMAT/Advance GRE. Details about UPTU Scholarships and Incentives scheme can be found on the link given below.

UP NTSE - National Talent Search Exam

UP NTSE is conducted every year for the students of class 10 for the students of Uttar Pradesh. UP NTSE will also be conducted in two stages, that is stage 1 & stage 2. UP NTSE 2018 Stage 1 will be conducted by SCERT Uttar Pradesh tentatively in November 2018. The students who qualify the Stage 1 will enter Stage 2. Stage 2 exam will be conducted in May 2019 by NCERT.

NTSE Application Form

NTSE Stage 1 Result will be declared in the month of February/March 2019, for the candidates who will appear in Stage 1 exam that will be conducted in November 2018. The candidates who will qualify stage 1 will enter NTSE Stage 2.

UPSTSE Scholarship 2018

This scholarship is conducted by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh. This scholarship is given by Uttar Pradesh Government.  The scholarship is applicable to students who have passed class 12. UPSTSE Scholarship was launched in 2016. There would be an exam for the scholarship. The winner of the scholarship would be given Rs. 1 Lakh as the prize money.

Types of UP Scholarship Status 2018-19

UP Scholarship Status 2018-19 is for the students who apply for Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship. The candidates can check their status regarding the online application form submitted by them. In the scholarship status, there will be a field known as scrutiny result. When the candidates will check their status, they will either get the status as suspect or correct.

Scholarship Status Scrutiny Result: Candidates can see either 'Suspect' or 'Correct'  mentioned in their Scrutiny Result section.

Verification by District Welfare Officer: After verification by District Welfare Officer, following are the things display on the UP Scholarship Form. The status is suspected and rejected by the District Scholarship Committee whereas some application was pending as not verified at the end of  District Committee.

  • The reason for Rejection: Suspects Marks, Students applied in same courses as in the previous session.
  • Below 60% marks where admission required on basis of Inter in Pvt. Institute For Professional Courses.
• Verified and Recommended by District Scholarship Committee

  • The remark of DWO (Verified): Verified by Institute.
