BT Connect email settings for Outlook
Outlook guide to setup BT Connect mail
1Start Outlook, click the File tab and click in the category information Account Settings
2Click in the tab Email on New.
3Switch on Server Settings and click Next.
4Select Internet Email Addresses, click Next and enter the following data among user data:
Your name: Your full name.
Email Address: your BT Connect email address.
5In the box Type Account below Server Information, select imap and fill out the following information:
Incoming e-mail: imap4.btconnect.com
Incoming port: 143
Outgoing e-mail: imap.btconnect.com
Outgoing port: 587
6Under Login Information fill in the following settings:
E-mail: your BT Connect email-adress
Password: your BT Connect email-password
Login with security: none
7Click on Test Account Settings. If all goes well, click next and then finish.
